Team Hoyt: A Picture of Our Father's Strength & Our weakness

I have often used this example as an illustration to Hebrews 12:1-3ff.   Janie-Lou and I actually first heard of Team Hoyt as the result of witnessing it for ourselves during a two-day stop-over in Kona, HI. Now you can view a brief overview of this Father/Son team. What an amazing picture of the way our Father powers across rough seas, down life's highways and across the finish line on that day we finally cross over into the grandstands of a cheering Heaven! Wow!!!

Gay No More ...

A compelling but brief news clip giving a very moving and balanced report of the ministries of First Stone Church in Oklahoma -- providing freedom in Christ to sufferers from all forms of sexual addiction, including homosexual and lesbian lifestyles. Note also the brief and inventive efforts of a local "gay" pastor to defend "non-abusive homosexuality." This is a fair, represent- ative example of the type of mis-interpretation of scripture that stands behind the efforts to make good what God calls harmful. The pastor is obviously intelligent, articulate and a very caring individual, but also caught up in a delusion that is harming many whom God loves deeply and for whom Christ has died. May God gift more of our churches to quietly but faithfully bring the message of freedom and healing to whosever desires to experience the freedom only Christ can bring.
